In this post, I wanted to review some of the best new women’s winter coats. We’re all looking to get a good value but staying up to date and in style has to weigh in the consideration process as well.
The Lole Women’s Katie Jacket was released in Fall 2009 and is available at Altrec.com. It technically comes in black, redwood, and vanilla but only the vanilla color is available now (but if you wear a small that’s gone too – which might be ok since it runs small). The fact that so many of the Katie Jackets are gone is a good indicator that it is very popular. It costs $299.95 but for good reason. It has several endearing features that most women are going to love.

One last note you’re going to like is it won’t buff up and make you look bulky. It keeps you warm with the down insulation but is still lightweight and sleek.
Cabela’s has the North Face Women’s Fer Sure Triclimate Jacket on sale for $184.99 marked down from $229. Colors come in off versions of purple, red, and blue. I’m not a fan as I like to go the more traditional route, but that’s just a personal taste thing. The cool aspect of the Triclimate women’s coat is the functionality and flexibility it possesses. With three layers to protect you from the cold, you can adapt to the temperature. If during the day, conditions warm up, then the inner “Heat Seeker Liner” can stand alone. If you’re a pocket person, this winter women’s jacket has you covered.
The winter trench coat with winter warmer from Burberry was absolutely stunning. The color is mole which is a version of charcoal. Now, I’ll warn you this isn’t for extremely cold temperatures as it doesn’t have the same thickness as the others, but what you will get is a extremely chic women’s trench coat with a slimming effect from the wrap around belt (not really a belt but I don’t know how else to say it). I suspect this will work all the way to temperatures of 32 and still keep you cozy from the winter warmer. The added benefit to the Burberry trench jacket is it looks like an excellent rain, wind and moisture repellent. It’s definitely pricey at $1,295 but what a coat. If you have the money, you’ll turn heads for sure.
